Like everybody else, I was looking forward to the display of birds of prey at a chateau in the Dordogne – and when it came, I enjoyed it.
But I couldn’t help wondering, as I mooched about with my camera before showtime, what the birds themselves might think about it.
Weekly Photo Challenge: State of Mind
He is thinking, “hey you, have a mice?”
We have a wonderful Birds of Prey center near my home in SC and all of the birds are incapable for one reason or another of living in the wild. Often times if they can be rehabilitated they are later released. Hopefully the birds in your center are just happy to have been saved from terrible fates!
Hmmmm. Not too sure about that, unfortunately. Although there’s certainly no shortage of birds of prey such as buzzards and kestrels in the wild around here. Hawks too, and even red kites.
Reminds me of a sketch my mother owned of a man scrunched up in a box and glaring out. The caption was, “I hate life.”
I know what you mean; he does look rather grumpy.
