British readers of a certain age, or their parents of a very uncertain age had a breather each morning watching a TV programme called Playschool. And educational delights were to be sen through one of three windows, one of which was round. Ah, memories!
Thank you for this backstory. I remember a similar TV show with a similar magical occurrence, but the host saw us in the audience through a magic mirror. She never said my name, Denise was not common back then I guess….our show was RomperRoom.
