I discovered this tiny and very squiggly lizard when I was covering up our garden furniture for the winter. There are lizards everywhere around here but they are typically no more than three inches long and find homes in the stonework of walls and so on. They pose no threat – indeed, they feed on insects that would otherwise attack our plants, so they’re actually quite a boon.
This particular specimen, no more than an inch and a half long, was especially colourful.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Twisted or squiggly
A lizard is a great idea for this challenge. 😀
A unique and fun example!
I’ve not seen a lizard such as this, nor can I find info about it. Is it actually a salamander, do you know what it is? It’s so beautiful!
