Tuesdays of Texture: Quilt

Last year, as a wedding present for our son and (now) daughter-in-law, Madame made a king-sized bed quilt, with most of the stitching done by her own fair hands. It took close to a full year to complete, and the last Swarovski crystal being stitched on just two days before the wedding. This is a work-in-progress image.

  1. She added Swarovski crystals to this already amazingly detail work?!! I would never use something like this. Never. That part you photographed here is so beautiful, I would just sit with it and gaze at it. Tell her, as someone who knows the work that goes into a piece like this, that I admire her work very much! And thanks for sharing this in Tuesdays of Texture!
