Cee’s theme for her Black & White Photo Challenge this week of ‘bikes’ gives me an opportunity to post another image of our friend Terry’s much cherished Triumph motorcycle:

Last year, I took a whole series of photos of our friend Terry’s immaculately maintained Triumph motorcycle – including this very rounded, yet almost abstract, image of the crossbar and headlight.

The latest theme in the 52 Weeks Photo Challenge set by The Girl That Dreams Awake is ‘Round’.
As I’m travelling this week and next, and I’ve never mastered all this Cloud-based technology stuff, I only have access to what’s already in my Media Library or on my iPad. I was therefore a little worried that I wouldn’t have an appropriate photo for the challenge.
Fortunately, though, I do have this image of the wheel of our friend Terry’s pride-and-joy (and immaculate) Triumph motor-cycle, which certainly fits the bill.

(I used another image of this bike for Week 1 of the challenge.)

Our friend and neighbour Terry is the proud owner of a beast of a 1740cc Triumph motorcycle, all chrome and black, that he utterly dotes on. It looks like it’s never been out of the showroom. And, since it most definitely has an engine, it seems like a very suitable subject for this week’s Black & White Challenge.

My grandson triumphantly raises his arms as his bowling ball heads down the lane for a strike.
As a point of information, this is the boy who was taking a peek at his brother here.
Oh, and the plaster cast came about after he jumped out of a tree. As any self-respecting six-year old would, obviously.
