The theme for this time around is ‘Urban Landscapes’

Where we live now offers very little opportunity to capture images fulfilling that criterion, but prior to relocating to the depths of the French countryside we lived for ten years in Abu Dhabi, in an apartment right in the centre of the city.

Unsurprisingly, my library has plenty of examples of urban landscapes from that period, including this probably once-in-a-lifetime capture of a lightning strike.
