The Chateau de la Riviere which featured last week is not all dereliction by any means. It is currently used as an equine stud farm. It also boasts its own chapel, which features some outstanding stained glass windows.

Just outside Pompadour lies the Chateau de la Rivière, home of JN Stables. Apart from the stables themselves – and here’s a reminder…
