Monochrome Madness: Everything Spring

This week the theme is the timely one of ‘Everything Spring’. Up here in the northern hemisphere it’s the time for planting and growing.

This little fella, just planted out in of our raised beds, will – if al goes according to plan – eventually provide us with some Brussels sprouts: chou de Bruxelles.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Growth

This particular specimen of one of the flowers that came from the wild flower mix we sewed last summer rapidly outstripped – outgrew – all the rest. Shooting it from below – not that I had much choice – as it reaches for the sky reinforces the impression of ‘growth’.

Tuesday Photo Challenge: Signs

Thursday Doors: Potting Shed

The back wall of our laverie (we use it as a utility room) is supported by a buttress. Our very clever builders used this to create a potting shed for Madame; they also made this nice little door for it.
