52 Week Smartphone Challenge: 36 Habits

This week, the Smartphone Challenge is “Some habits are good, and some are bad. Your inspiration this week is either”.

To the best of my knowledge, I am entirely devoid of good habits, so that narrows it down a bit.

However, I have it on the very highest authority that, among a plethora of bad habits, my alleged inability to close cupboard doors properly ranks very highly in terms of irritation-generating capacity.

Dunno what all the fuss is about….

Lies, all lies. Our local pharmacy doesn’t sell rhino horn and it’s not rhino horn anyway.

Monday Window – Le Dorat

The nearby town of Le Dorat hosted the ‘Mondial de Tonte’ (that’s the world sheep-shearing championships) back in July. For such an occasion, the place was, naturally, ‘en fête’, with most shop doors and windows being decorated with amusing pictures such as this one:

This way to the dumpster

This hand-made – and most definitely unofficial – signpost in the city of Cahors, in southern France, points the way to a number of exotic locations. And Brussels.

Shouldn’t that be ‘vin’?

As one of France’s leading utility companies, EDF (Électricité de France) supplies something without which modern civilised life would be quite impossible.

As well as electricity.

Taking customer service to a whole new level

This sign could equally well have been posted for the Oddball challenge, but since it was in black and white anyway, I though I’d use it for this week’s Black & White Photo Challenge. It’s outside a carpet shop close to where my parents live in the UK.

I say ‘pavement’, you say ‘sidewalk’.
