Last On The Card: Silk Tree

I know it also goes by other names, but here in France it’s known as a silk tree. We have one in our garden and, against all the drought-induced odds, it has flowered.

This blossom on a silk tree is lovely now, but will soon be reduced to the dried, shrivelled state of its neighbour.
